Here’s one of the most complex shipments we’ve handled recently

At first, everything looked fairly standard…
until we took a closer look at the cargo composition.

The shipment quickly stopped being “routine.”
And… the final challenge: temperature-sensitive cargo
Some of the boxes required a temperature range of -5°C to -15°C and were transported using dry ice.

until we took a closer look at the cargo composition.
- a large number of UN-classified dangerous goods
- both CAO (Cargo Aircraft Only) and PAX (permitted on passenger aircraft) categories

- there are very few flights from Turkey that can accept this type of cargo
- restrictions depending on aircraft type
- different transportation requirements within the same shipment
And… the final challenge: temperature-sensitive cargo

What We Did
The solution was not to “ship it as is.”
We divided the cargo into three parts and developed a separate transportation plan for each one:

- Part 1 → Mahan Air
- The dimensions did not allow the cargo to be transported on narrow-body aircraft.
- Part 2 → Aeroflot
- The cargo parameters were suitable for a passenger flight.
- Part 3 → Road transport 🚚
- Yes, sometimes this is the only workable solution.
Temperature.
To keep the cargo within the required temperature range:
- dry ice was replenished continuously during transit
- every stage of the shipment was closely monitored
- we made sure the cargo was moved into refrigerated storage immediately
The Result
All three parts of the shipment:
✔️ arrived in Moscow
✔️ on time
✔️ in perfect condition
